J-Bolt
J-type anchor bolt
Most common type for machine foundations. Threaded on the top end with a J-shaped hook at the base. Used for lathe, VMC, press, and compressor installation — the hook embeds in the concrete pour and the threaded shank passes through the machine baseplate.
L-Bolt
Right-angle anchor bolt
Right-angle bend at the base provides deeper concrete embedment and higher pull-out resistance than a J-bolt. Preferred for heavy pumps, motors, and equipment with significant vertical vibration loads.
U-Bolt
U-shaped anchor bolt
